So what's a Chakra?
First, lets understand human energy. You know, that thing that keeps you going or slows you down. Or as your 8th grade science teacher calls it, kinetic and physical energy! Everything that exists in this world is made up of energy. In the human body, your energy (a.k.a. CHI) runs from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. Chakras are the energy hubs of your body, and Chi constantly flows throughout your Chakras.
There are seven Chakras that connect to your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual body. Each Chakra has a specific type of Chi (energy), color, stone and meaning, Each Chakra color has a purpose to help us live a well-balanced and gratifying life! Your Chakra colors represent the energy wheelhouse that runs throughout your body.
It's imperative that you protect your Chi to keep your Chakras free from blockage. An imbalanced or blocked Chakra can lead to mental, physical, emotional distress or disorders. A balanced Chakra allows the flow of energy to help your body function properly and thrive in a harmonious state.
Here is a quick explanation of the seven Chakra colors, their meanings, and what they represent. We’ll provide some examples of blocked Chakras and how to balance them so you can vibrate higher and protect your inner-Chi!

Red (First) Chakra – Root
Yellow (Third) Chakra – Solar Plexus
Orange (Second) Chakra – Sacral
The Root Chakra represents consciousness, survival and nourishment from the energy of the Earth
Red represents the instinctual “fight or flight” response and seeks the need for the for shelter, safety, and comfort
Crystals - Agate, Black Tourmaline, Bloodstone, Hematite, Smoky Quartz Tigers Eye
Physical location - base of spine; perineum
Blocked - negative energy, worry or anger. Are you lazy, narcissistic, and hold on to resentment? Symptoms might include constipation, lower back pain, hemorrhoids, prostate issues, or menstrual cramps
Balance - proper nutrition and rest is key.

Orange (Second) Chakra – Sacral

The Sacral Chakra represents emotions, creativity, drive, desires and fluidity
Orange is enthusiastic, joyful, and the color of vitality and strength
Crystals - Carnelian, Citrine, Coral, Moonstone
Physical location - below the belly button
Blocked - lacking creativity, self control and the ability to emotionally and intimately connect with yourself and others. Do you lack confidence? Symptoms might include the ability to make good choices, detachment from your soul and sexual dysfunction
Balance - with a healthy attitude; connections to other people and yourself through sex and reproduction.

The Solar Plexus Chakra represents confidence, preparedness and trust.
Yellow is respect, self-control, will power, passion and fire
Crystals - Citrine, Malachite, Orange Calcite, Topaz
Physical location - above the belly button
Blocked - stubborn, insomnia, holding on to anger, blame. Are you afraid?
Symptoms might include over obsessing, stomach pain, digestive issues and criticism
Balance - by trusting your gut instinct, nurturing your talents, knowing your worth and exercise often. You've got this!

Heart (Fourth) Chakra – Green

The Heart Chakra represents the element of air, compassion and unconditional love.
Green - is a symbol of growth, health, life and integration among all living things
Crystals - Green Calcite, Jade, Rose Quartz, Tourmaline
Physical Location - center of chest
Blocked - you're co-dependent and clingy. Feeling lonely or isolated? Are you in a dysfunctional relationship?
Symptoms might include criticizing or cruelty, heart problems, lung problems, and upper back problems
Balance - practice self-love and love for others. Be friendly, have empathy and use wisdom. It's important to be emotionally balanced.
Accept the things you cannot change and love what makes you, you!
Throat (Fifth) Chakra – Blue

The Throat Chakra represents truth, communication, listening, sharing and expression.
Blue - is intelligence
Crystals - Aquamarine, Blue lace agate, Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise
Physical Location - the throat
Blocked - let go of your emotional baggage. Stop being gossipy and verbally abusive. Are you shy, embarrassed or afraid to speak up? Symptoms include neck pain. thyroid problems, difficulty speaking and poor dental health
Balance - you are open, clear and able to speak your truth easily. Always remember It's important to have a life balance. Be creative and express yourself. Learn to let go.

Indigo - is a spiritual connection and deep awakening

Physical Location - between your eyebrows
Blocked - stop overthinking and stop worrying. Sometimes it’s hard to see the bigger picture and the vision of what you want out of life. Symptoms might include insomnia, memory loss, headaches, sinusitis, and eye issues
Balance - see things as they are. There is more to you than just your physical body so vibrate higher and connect with your inner wisdom. Listen to your intuition. It's the 6th sense.

unlock the door to your higher consciousness. You are whole and connected to the universe.
